In the early 70's, CSA pioneered tax-leveraged leasing especially in the computer industry and was one of the first lessors to use non-recourse financing for medium size transactions. Since that time, CSA has remained at the forefront of innovation in developing leading-edge methods of financing.
To minimize the costs of obtaining capital, CSA has access to the best available sources of fixed-rate, low-cost debt capital from institutions throughout the world. Money from these sources is blended with CSA's own equity or that of our affiliates, including approximately 500 private partnerships and trusts managed by CSA.
CSA has utilized numerous private partnerships, as well as several Public Income Funds registered in the United States for equipment leasing investments not only in the U.S. but also in the European Community.
In recent years, CSA has created European Bank Agency Programs whereby CSA provides equity for Bank Customer originated leases and has applied this concept to numerous transactions in Europe.
CSA is unique in its ability to apply its lease financing expertise not only to multi-million dollar transactions, but also to equipment acquisitions in the range of $100,000 or more, in the US, UK, IRL, and Europe, in US$, or local currencies.
